 HEALTH ROOM UPDATE

There are new criteria for students who display COVID-like symptoms.  

If your child is sick, please keep your child home. Your child may return to
school after one of these 3 criteria have been met:
● Doctor's note; OR
● Proof of a Negative
COVID-19 Test; OR
● At Least 10 Days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

Along with one of these criteria, your child also must be fever and
symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medication and
symptoms have improved.

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health developed a data driven method to assist administrators in their decision-making processes in choosing their school’s learning model. School operations DOH’s Current Model: BLENDED

While in the DOH’s BLENDED model, we are not permitted to have more than 50% of our student body on campus at a time.  We continue to pause our return of grades 3-5.

A minimum of two weeks of data should be reviewed before considering transition to a new learning level.  When we are safely within the DOH’s IN-PERSON model, we will resume our phased return of grades 3-5.
