PE Department in cooperation with Eagle Council are hosting our annual Jump Rope for Heart on February 7.  We are jumping, hula hooping, dancing in support of a healthy heart. Please bring $1 to support the American Heart Association. 
       Parents are welcome to attend, you must sign in at the front office before walking to the play court.  Make sure you have picture id with you when checking in at the office.

Smencil Grams are on sale now until February 7. Available while supplies last and maximum four smencils per purchase. Smencils are $2. each and includes a $1.00 donation to PTO. Cash payments only will be accepted. Payments can be turned into the main office or given to the teacher or dropped at the PTO room P15B.  Deliveries are February 14th. Show your love by supporting this PTO fundraiser.

Keiki Great Aloha Run is Sat. Feb. 8 at Ala Moana Beach Park. Program begins at 7am and run starts at 7:30. This Mile and half run/walk along the beach road within the park creates a safe and fun opportunity for kids to run and experience the joy of a healthier Hawaii.  To raise funds for our school, $15 of every registration will be donated to support our PE program. Saturdays & Sundays .    Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden in Kaneohe has Family Fishing for free from 10am - 2pm.  Attend this catch and release program for all ages and enjoy a scenic 20 minute walk to the fishing area.  Bring walking shoes, insect repellant, rain gear, barb-less hooks, shite bread for bait, drinking water and a snack. Sat. Feb. 1 .    Chinese New Year's celebration at Hawai'i's Plantation Village from 10am - 2pm for free. Celebrate Chinese New Year by exploring the different ethnic groups that worked on the sugar plantations. Sat. Feb. 1     Rossini’s Cinderella free performance at 11:30am
Almost every child knows the story of Cinderella—but don’t expect the Disney version Saturday morning when Hawaiʻi Opera Theatre performs Cinderella by Gioachino Rossini. He’s an Italian composer who lived in the 1800s. This free performance is a great opportunity for your family to experience opera in a casual, no-frills environment. Park in the SALT at Our  Kakaʻako building (enter from Keawe Street) then take the elevator to the first floor where The Barn is near Moku Kitchen. Kids can sit on the floor reserved just for them in front of the stage. A special meet-and-greet takes place right after the show. Bring mats or your own chairs, if you'd like. Sat. Feb. 1 Wahine Experience from 3pm - 5pm for free.
Got kids in 8th grade or younger? The Wahine Experience is a free sports clinic featuring games, activities and giveaways for keiki, plus the chance to meet University of Hawaiʻi Wahine teams and head basketball coach, Laura Beeman. Scheduled to appear are athletes from the volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, track and field and sailing teams. All kids—and their accompanying family members—receive free tickets to Saturday evening's men's and women's basketball doubleheader. Preregister your children at the link below.
