                      Jingle Bell Run - donate $$ and walk or run or skip to the music for 30 minutes. Parents are invited to join their child for 30 minutes of exercise on our back field.  Check in at office before your childs' designated time, then you can join them on the field. Community Events

Fri. Dec. 6       Wahiawa Town Santa Parade at 6:30pm. Starts at Ka'ala Elementary School and goes up California Ave.  More than 40 floats and units will travel through the heart of Wahiawa. Santa is the last float in the parade and he gets out at Longs for pictures. Expect road closures and delays. ourwahiawa.com 

Sat. Dec. 7  Holidays in Mililani from 9am - 4pm. Get ready for a trio of events in Mililani on Saturday! First, the town parade starts at 9am at Mililani High School's stadium then proceeds along Kipapa Drive to Mililani Shopping Center before ending at about 10:30 at Town Center of Mililani. Then, snow play day from 9 a.m. to noon at Mililani Shopping Center. To participate, bring a cash donation or brand-new toy for Toys of Tots. Down the street at Town Center of Mililani, a post-parade party happens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There, keiki can make snowman stockings, take photos with Santa and cover themselves in holiday-themed tattoos. Toys for Tots also collects toys and cash at the town center.

Sat. Dec. 7   Mililani Town Association hosts its winter craft fair from 4pm - 9pm at Mililani Rec Center 5. Handmade goods, food and more. Free parking. mililanitown.org/special-events

Sat. Dec. 7  Christmas Countdown Calendar Workshop from 9am - noon for free. Bring your keiki to a holiday-themed workshop Saturday morning at The Home Depot, where they each receive DIY wooden kits, stickers, sanding tools and hammers to make their own Christmas countdown calendars. Adult supervision is required, of course. Sorry, you can't nap in the car while they work. Your keiki leave the workshop with finished calendars, commemorative pins and orange Home Depot aprons to wear to the Jan. 4 workshop (if they want to make mini hockey games).

Sat. Dec. 7  Honolulu City Lights from 4pm - 11pm, free admission but bring cash for food or merchandise. On Saturday evening, downtown Honolulu comes alive with the Electric Lights Parade, 50-foot-tree-lighting ceremony and giant lawn ornaments. Arrive at the Civic Center Grounds as early as 4 p.m. for keiki rides and food booths, see the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m., watch the parade pass Honolulu Hale before 7 p.m., then visit Santa from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Mission Auditorium. Don’t forget to snap photos of your family in front of Shaka Santa, Tūtū Mele and other characters! All the decor—including trees inside Honolulu Hale—stay up from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., daily, through Dec. 29. If you can’t attend this Saturday’s block party, mark your calendars to watch The Grinch movie on the Civic Center lawn at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14; or receive free cookies and milk at Honolulu Hale from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Sat. Dec. 7   Santa Saturday at Kapolei Shopping Center from 11am - 1:30pm for free.  Keiki activities, holiday crafts, photos with Santa, and appearance by Rudolph and 12 tons of Hawaiian snow. 590 Farrington Hwy, kapoleishopping.com

Sun. Dec. 8           Warm Fuzzies” at Family Sunday from 10am - 2pm for free. Bid aloha and farewell to Spalding House on Sunday. This is the last time the Makiki Heights art gallery—listed for sale—participates in “Family Sunday,” a free monthly program of kids’ art workshops. At Spalding House, keiki can make colorful tea light lanterns, listen to stories, play on the lawn and dance to live local musicians. The main hub of Family Sunday is Honolulu Museum of Art, where kids can build Filipino star lanterns, fashion reindeer out of clothespins and make Christmas cards for their peers living at homeless shelter Institute for Human Services (IHS). This month's Family Sunday is all about giving, so you might want to encourage your kids to bring donations for IHS.

Tues. Dec. 10                      Ward Village City Lights Trolley Tours 6:30pm - 9pm daily through Dec. 30. For $8 per person you can enjoy a trolley ride through downtown and Honolulu Hale.  1020 Auahi Street, wardvillage.com/trolley

Wed. Dec. 11                       Explore Santa's workshop at Army Community Service Holiday Open House. 12:30 - 1:30 EFMP Early Opening, 1:30 - 3:30 General Opening. Activities include pictures with Santa, Family friendly activities, crafts and community information
