Thank you for participating in the Scholastic Pajama Drive.  5th Graders wanted to take time to thank you all for  the wonderful pajamas that were donated. We collected a total of 72 pairs of pajamas! Well done, DKIES!

Fri. Dec. 13         BOGO Book Fair in the library - last day to shop 7:30 - 3:00

                     Last Day to return school library books for the year

                        3rd Grade Field Trip to Polynesian Cultural Center

                      Jingle Bell Run - donate $$ and walk or run or skip to the music for 30 minutes. Each grade level comes to the back field at designated time.  Parents that want to attend either signed up online or come to the office that morning before the grade level time to get signed in.

Pre K & K 8:45 - 9:15            1st Grade  10:00 - 10:30    2nd Grade 10:30 - 11:00

4th & 5th Grade      11:00 - 11:30                      

PTO Winter event - 5:30 School Play, 6pm brief PTO meeting, 6:15 - 7:30 crafts, cookies, silent auction, food trucks and more. Pajama Theme, come in your jammies.

Mon. Dec. 16           School starts at 7:55 every day. Be in class or get a tardy slip.

Tues. Dec. 17       4th grade Field Trip to Iolani Palace and State Capitol

                      Book Swap Bring 1 book and take 2.  Jamba Juice after school in the cafeteria. $5. smoothies

                      McTeacher Night at Wahiawa McDonalds from 4pm - 7pm

Wed. Dec. 18       Super Eagle Assembly for 2nd & 3rd grade in cafe at 8:30, then play

Thurs. Dec. 19      Super Eagle Assembly for 4th & 5th grade in cafe at 8:30, then play

Fri. Dec. 20        Super Eagle Assembly for Pre K & kinder & 1st grade at 8:30

Community Calendar

Sat. Dec. 14             Winter Wonderland at Aliamanu Military Reservation from 9am - 2pm for free. Snow zone, pictures with Santa (9 - 10:30 & 12 - 2) live music, keiki crafts, inflatables, photo booth, pony rides from 10 - 2.  Cash only activities are paint and take holiday ornaments, sandy candy and food booths.  Clause & Paws fun run 10:30 it's free and pet friendly, register 9 - 10:15

Sat. Dec. 14 .    Christmas Carnival and Parade at Waipahu Town Center from 11am - 8pm.  Keiki Carnival rides, food, games and vendor booths. From 2 - 8 there is face painting, glitter tattoo and colorstreet press on nail polish. Christmas Parade 3pm - 3:45 starts at Wahipahu District Park and ends at Waipahu Town Center.  Petting Zoo and Entertainment from 4 - 7.  Free Keiki ID from 5pm - 7pm.  Free pictures with Santa inside Seafood City from 4pm - 7pm.94-050 Farrington Hwy in Waipahu

Thurs. Dec. 19 .     Wahiawa Public Library hosts Christmas Carol Karaoke from 5:30pm - 7pm.  A super fun event for families, teens and adults. Come sing your favorite carols karaoke-style or chant along with the chorus while others lead the songs. Christmas-y goodies will be provided as refreshments and this year we will be visited by a surprise guest. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  820 California Ave.

Fri. Dec. 20 & 21   Wahiawa Public Library hosts a community Chess Tournament from 9am - 5pm. Registration is required (808) 622-6345
