5th grade is participating in the 11th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. Accepting donations of brand new pajamas in all sizes from newborn to adult. Pajamas must be a complete set. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate a brand new book to Pajama Program to give to kids who are affected by instability.  Donate pajamas to any 5th grade class or bring to the main office before Dec. 5.

Sat. Nov. 23        Fun Run starts at 7am. Thanks for supporting the PTO in this fun family 1 mile or 5 K around the school. Kids ever wanted to run in the hallways? This is your chance, our route winds up and down most of the hallways in the school.  Come early or stay after your race to enjoy our Fun Zone on the back field with Bouncer & Obstacle Course and more.

Mon. Nov. 25          School starts at 7:55 every day. Be in class or get tardy slip.

Tues. Nov. 26      Chaperone Training 8 - 8:30 in PCNC office in corner of main office.

Wed. Nov. 27      Panda Express fundraiser today & yesterday. Bring flier to Wahiawa location
                      2:10-3:30pm, the PTO brings the Kona Ice Truck to Campus, shorten your wait and visit Yearbook Photo Booth.  $1.00 for each person in the picture, guaranteed to be in the yearbook

Sat. Nov. 23                  Lyon Arboretum’s Holiday Plant and Craft Sale from 9am - 3pm for free. Where can you find carnivorous plants, edible flowers, holiday crafts, local honey and kids' entertainment—all in one place this weekend? The answer is Lyon Arboretum. Bring cash if you go, as most of the vendors do not accept cards. Please note that the parking lot is not open this Saturday at Lyon Arboretum so catch the free shuttle to the event from one of two locations: at the corner of Mānoa Road and Poʻelua Street, and at the corner of Mānoa and Nipo streets. Shuttles run nonstop from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Another option is to find parking in upper Mānoa and walk to Lyon Arboretum. Sat. Nov. 23                  Going Green at Mililani Hongwanji collects unwanted goods from area residents from 9am - noon.  Free recycling drive takes items such as computers, monitors, printers, scanners, one TV per car, boat and car batteries and HI-5 plastic and aluminum beverage containers.  The community also is encouraged to stop by with clothing and household items for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai'i; eyeglasses and hearing aids for Hawai'i Lions District 50; prom dresses and accessories for The Bella Project; women's business attire for YWCA Oahu's Dress for Success program, canned goods for Hawai'i Foodbank and pet supplies for Poi Dogs and Oahu SPCA.  Note that Going Green DOES NOT ACCEPT tires, paint, metal, motor or cooking oil, cardboard, paper, plastics, wood, bulky items, hazardous fluids, toners and ink cartridges and lithium or nickel batteries.  Location is 95-257  Kaloapau Street

Tues. Dec. 3                  Tree Lighting at Generals Loop on Schofield from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. Performance by Army Music Hawaii, appearances by costumed characters, announcement of the Holiday Card Lane winners, and pictures with Santa.  Santa will be making his appearance at approximately 6:20pm.  Cookies and cocoa will be provided by Island Palm Communities. Food, beverages and souvenir mug available for purchase. CASH ONLY.
