Fri. March 8 . Seconds at Leilehua Hour of Code from 4pm - 6pm in the cafeteria. Leilehua students will run activities in the cafeteria to build awareness of Computer Science (scratch, code.org and cryptology) For students in kindergarten - 12th grade. Food trucks will be on campus from 4pm - 8pm in the front parking lot. Purchase dinner on your way home.
Fri. March 8 Kroc Movie on the Field at 6pm. Bring your family to the Kroc
Center Hawaiʻi in Kapolei for a free feature movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet,
shown on a big screen on the Kroc field. Arrive by 6 p.m. to purchase popcorn,
cotton candy and dinner, and have your keiki burn off energy in the bounce
houses. Also, don’t forget to pack picnic blankets, low-back chairs and hoodies

March 8 - 10 Honolulu Festival is free and open to all ages. Make
friends with visitors from Japan, Hawaiʻi, Australia, Tahiti, the Philippines,
South Korea, Taiwan and other Asia-Pacific nations this weekend at the Honolulu
Festival. This three-day event—now in its 25th year—features dancing, music,
food and the arts. The most family-friendly activities are the: craft fair,
dance convention and bon dance from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 9, in
the Hawaiʻi Convention Center; the Grand Parade from 4:30 to 8 p.m., Sunday,
March 10, on Kalākaua Avenue; and the fireworks show at 8:30 p.m., Sunday,
March 10, at Waikīkī Beach. Listen to radio station Hawaiian 105KINE to sync
music with the fireworks. Various

March 16 The Keiki Rainbow Run, www.kahoomiki.org., is on March 16, 2019. This is a healthy, family-friendly
event that raises funds for school's P.E. and nutrition programs;
For the Early Registrations, 100% of the $15 fee will be donated to schools;
Our policy is to align the products served with our messaging; hence, no sugary beverages will be served;
The Keiki Rainbow Run is
a fun, healthy, and educational event featuring an un-timed 1.2-mile
run for keiki and their families. Following the run, each keiki will
receive a t-shirt and healthy snacks and can enjoy the post-run
activities at the Healthy Keiki Fest.
§ Water refill stations will be available, so please bring reusable bottles to stay hydrated
§ Intergenerational event—Parents, kūpuna, and supporters of all ages are welcomed!
§ Event participants will start in 3 age groups (10-12, 7-9, and 6 and under)
§ Unfortunately, strollers are not allowed at this event
