March 1-5

Parents at Lunch
Eating lunch with your child is a privilege and not a right, as a guest on campus, you must follow these guidelines;  All adults on campus should sign in at the office first, every time you are on campus.  For lunch, that is the blue Visitor Log and then you get a Visitor badge before going to lunch room (Please return badge and sign out before leaving). You are welcome to eat in the cafeteria (space available) or in the outdoor pavilion if there are no scheduled activities in the area.  You may only eat and share food with your own child.  Friends are not permitted to join you for lunch.  The school playground is off limits to students and guests during lunch.    Taking pictures and video taping other students and staff is strictly prohibited. If you do this, you will not be welcomed back as a guest during school hours.

Youth often believe that vaping liquids contain water and flavoring and are unaware that it contains nicotine, leading them to believe that vaping is less dangerous than using other tobacco products.  The amount of nicotine in the liquid can be the same or even more than the amount found in cigarettes.  Get the facts and get your questions answered.  1515 California Ave in Wahiawa, www.leilehua.k12.hi.us
