Still accepting entries to Chili Cook Off & Pumpkin carving contest. Each is $5. and your chances of winning are great. 

Pre-sale ticket flier went home yesterday, send in form with money to get bonus tickets by Oct. 31. Pre-sale tickets can be picked up at HQ tent at Fall Festival.

Fri. Oct. 26           Last day to enter yearbook cover contest. must include the school name and school year, this years theme: Kakou: we are in this together. Use 8 1/2 x 11 card stock or paper but must be vertical!! On the back in pencil students first & last name and grade.

Community Events

Fri. Oct. 26 .    Trunk or treat at Kaena & Helemano and Wheeler Community Centers starts at 5:30pm. IPC invites residents for free night of tricked-out trunks and ono treats. Bring kids in costume to go trunk to trunk collecting candy from decorated cars.

Oct. 26 & 27 .    Mililani Middle School's music department hosts a haunted house, food trucks and activities from 6pm - 9pm. Requested donation is $5 to support their upcoming trip.  (808) 627-9000

Sat. Oct. 27 .    Wahiawa Lions Club collects canned food at Wahiawa Town Center near Longs Drugs from 10am - 2pm. Collection canned tuna, meats, baked beans, vegetables and fruits. Also accepting cereal, rice, peanut butter, jelly and powdered milk.  All proceeds will benefit Wahiawa families in need. (808) 621-0852

Sun. Oct. 28 .    Hawai'i Pacific Health Kids Fest at Bishop Museum from 10am - 2pm  Free community health event designed to promote healthy active lifestyles, exercise and nutrition, and injury prevention. Families will enjoy interactive health and wellness activities, fun games, snacks and giveaways. Children ages 4 - 12 can also enter to win a free bicycle and helmet and other great prizes. Oct. 27 & 28 Family Fishing from 10am - 2pm for Free.  Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden offers catch-and-release fishing every weekend morning for free. Sat. Oct. 27 ʻOhana Coloring Project from 10am - 5pm at Ala Moana Center for Free. If your children like to color the walls and floors at home, this activity is for them. The UNIQLO store at Ala Moana Center invites families this Saturday to put finishing touches to “All in the ‘Ohana,” a black-and-white mural depicting the colorful and diverse people of Honolulu. The mural is on the exterior wall of the UNIQLO store and is the creation of local artist Jasper Wong, founder of Pow!Wow! Hawai’i. Sun. Oct. 28 .    Keiki Halloween Costume Contest trick or teat at Haleiwa Store Lots (by Teddys) 2pm, contact for cost.  Join a costume contest featuring 3 age groups: children age 3 and under, ages 4-8 and ages 9-12. The first 20 entries will be accepted for each age group. haleiwastorelots.com

Wed. Oct. 31 .    Trick or treat under the stars at Town Center of Mililani from 5pm - 7pm. Bring your little monsters and ghouls to Town Center of Mililani for safe trick or treating and frightening fun. Stop by the starstruck sculpture and take a bootiful selfie. Look for the sign in windows of participating stores to score some scary good treats, while supplies last.
