October 16 is the first day back to school after Fall Break
and you can be a part of our Walking School Bus.
We will meet at 2 different locations at 7am and your family can get signed in with volunteer in orange or yellow vest. At 7:15 your family can walk with us to school. If you want to drop off your child to walk with us, you must get permission form from orange vested volunteer and sign it before leaving your child.Route 1 meets at the corner of Ayres Ave & Cadet Sheridan on the grassy area in back corner of Chapel ; we will walk straight up Ayres and into the school and go to play court for group picture.
Route 2 gathers at Canby Park on Leilehua Ave in grassy area, comes on sidewalk across Stoneman Field and to the school to go to covered playcourt until 7:45 bell rings.
We ask parents walking with their families to be an active part of our adventure. Parents in the middle of the group might be where the group breaks to cross the street. Then crossing guards will allow cars to go and then next portion of our walking school bus will cross the street led by an adult, that might be you.
