School Happenings

Mon, Aug. 6          School starts for all students except kindergarten. 

Tues. Aug. 7          School starts at 7:55 every day – Be on time or get a tardy slip from office
                          
Wed. Aug. 8          Chaperone Training in PCNC Corner of front office 8:00 – 8:30am
                           (If you took training last year, then just update Chaperone Training)

School is out at 1:10 every Wednesday. (2:10 every other day)

Thurs. Aug. 9        Chaperone Training in PCNC corner of front office from 1:30pm – 2:00pm
Kindergarten class postings at 4pm

Fri. Aug. 10           Kindergarten Orientation for parents 8:00 in the cafeteria

Community Happenings


Sat. Aug. 4 .         Family Fun Fair from 10am - 1pm at Wahiawa District Park

Sat. Aug. 4 .         Halawa Xeriscape Garden Open House and Unthirsty Plant Sale from 9am - 3pm for FREE.  More than 10 local nurseries will provide a variety of less-thirsty and native plants. There will also be workshops by garden experts, live entertainment, a social media contest, keiki activities, educational booths, plant crafts, and more.  boardofwatersupply.com

Sat. Aug. 4 .         Hawai'i Small Business Fair at Honolulu Community College from 7:30am - 1pm

for FREE.  Attend free business workshops and receive free business counseling .  874 Dillingham Blvd in Honolulu (investhawaii.gov/business/hawaii-small-business-fairs)

Mondays .         Botanical Art - Bring art supplies and draw or paint plants, flowers and seeds at Wahiawa Botanical Garden from 9:30am - noon.

Fri. Aug. 10 .         National Night Out has been held across the country for 35 years to heighten safety awareness and promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and bring communities together. Kaena Community Center from 4pm - 6:30pm.  Face painting, balloon twisting, inflatable slides, Bring your bikes and helmets and take a ride through a cool DES Bike Patrol rodeo course and lots more.  www.islandpalmcommunities.com
