Mon. Aug. 13 .            School starts at 7:55 every day - Be in class on time or get tardy slip from office

Tues. Aug. 14             Chaperone Training in PCNC corner of front office from 8:00 – 8:30

Wed. Aug. 15            School is out at 1:10 every Wednesday. (2:10 every other day)

Thurs. Aug. 16           Copy Training in PCNC corner of front office from 8am – 9am - no kids

Fri. Aug. 17                 NO SCHOOL – State Holiday for Admissions Day

Community Events

Fri. Aug. 10 .         National Night Out has been held across the country for 35 years to heighten safety awareness and promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and bring communities together. Kaena Community Center from 4pm - 6:30pm.  Face painting, balloon twisting, inflatable slides, Bring your bikes and helmets and take a ride through a cool DES Bike Patrol rodeo course and lots more.  www.islandpalmcommunities.com

Sat. Aug.11 .    Touch a Truck at Kapolei Commons from 10am - 1pm for free.  And HONOLULU Family Magazine is searching for local kids to feature on their cover. Keiki ages 1 - 12 can take pictures with Karen DB Photography for a chance to be chosen for the cover.  Keiki are welcome to explore a wide range of working trucks and meet the people who operate them.  Trucks will include emergency vehicles, military, construction and more.  There will also be food trucks, arts and crafts, prizes and giveaways.  4450 Kapolei Pkwy, thekapoleicommons.com

Aug. 8 - 15 .    E-magine Pearlridge Center hosts a hands-on E-magine Fun exhibit during mall hours at Uptown Center Court.  The play zone features free and low-cost activities, including a virtual reality roller coaster, interactive gaming, rope maze  and much more.  Individual experiences cost $4 - $11.
