Hour of Code + Webex Wednesday

The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. The Hour of Code takes place each year during the Computer Science Education Week,  December 7-13. Every day this week we have coding activities for you to explore. This link has full descriptions.

"What's New?" Wednesday Webex:  Meet a DKIES Student Paper Artist!
Whenever Kacie visited the Makerspace, I knew she would fold a beautiful creation out of paper.  She made the teeny, tiniest cranes ever last year!  As small as my fingernail.  This year, she made a little house all out of paper.  Kacey will tell us where she gets her ideas and teach us how to fold paper into a turtle. There is a link on the "What's New?" blog for you to show us your paper creations!  Join  us Wednesday to hear Kacie talk about her paper art.  https://dkies.weebly.com/whats-new-wed-webex
