Community Resources

The YMCA Learning Center program at Mililani YMCA received significant funding to support children in our virtual learning environment. The funding allows the Y to offer the program 5 days a week at a reduced rate of $50 a week and, in addition, provide up to 100% of financial assistance for families in need.  This is a full-day program for school-aged children. They offer a safe place for children in Kindergarten - 6th grade to come and be supported by trained group leaders who assist with virtual learning, homework, and school assignments. Kids in their program also have the opportunity to engage in physical activity, games, and arts & crafts following the completion of their virtual school day. Girl Scouts on Schofield

While lots of things have come to a stand-still, the Girl Scouts are still working to make a difference in our communities. The Kolekole Girls Scouts are working on service projects from home, still earning badges and learning life-skills and carrying on Scouting even through the challenges we have been presented with.  Girl Scouts help girls learn to manage and overcome any obstacle and  make the world a better place.  Girls form life-long bonds with their fellow troop members and in a time when it's hard to meet people, Girl Scouts can be a great way to make new friends!

We would love to help you start and lead a troop with your daughter and her closest friends. Volunteer positions of all kinds are available, from troop leader to chaperone, and many others at the troop and service unit level. Be a part of your girl's scouting adventure - start a troop today!  We are looking to start troops at all levels and will make sure you have the support you need for training and virtual or in-person meetings. Email: GSKolekoleSU@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kolekolegirlscouts/sign up to volunteer with Girl Scouts of Hawaii at gshawaii.org
