Poem in your Pocket Day and more

Have you found a poem for your pocket?
Poem in Your Pocket Day is Thursday, April 30. Find a poem on the library website poetry page & record your poem on the poem flipgrid.  You can write your own too!

May Day is Lei Day in Hawai'i.  Have you made your lei? You can post it on flipgrid
  1. Post a Flip Grid Video of you holding your lei drawing or wearing your lei.
Go to https://flipgrid.com/maydaylei and add your video. Use this password: dkies2020
  2. Parents may email a picture of your lei or a picture of you wearing your lei to our Art teacher Mrs. Grunenberg at lagrunenberg@inouye.k12.hi.us and we will post it to our Flip Grid Video. Include your name, room #, and grade level.

May 1 is the day to put your lei on your mailbox or porch tomorrow. Share aloha for first responders and essential workers out there working so that we can stay home and stay safe :)

Our resource teachers have been working to provide fun May Day activities all week.
