Continuity of Learning

Many of you received this information in email and phone call from the principal, Ms. Arikawa.  If you haven't received these, please email your best contact information to her at yuuko.arikawa@k12.hi.us.  And here is the latest on continuity of learning.

We hope you are doing well.  Our faculty and staff have been working hard putting together a variety of resources for our students’ continuity of learning.
I have a lot of information to share so please check the accompanying email for this message.
Here goes Week 1 : March 30 - April 3!
INFORMATION FROM TEACHERS TO STUDENTS AND FAMILIES
All pertinent information is accessible on our school’s website (www.dkies.org) at each grade level or specialists’ page.  If you have any questions, please contact your grade level teacher and/or specialist.
DRIVE THROUGH PACKET PICK UP FOR SPECIFIC FAMILIES
Through our survey and teacher & family communication, we have identified families who are in need of a physical packet and resources to access their continuity of learning. These families have been notified of their pick up date and time.  Drive through packet pick up will be fronting our cafeteria.
*If you are sick, please do not come and pick up a packet and send another family member or friend in your place.
REPORT CARDS
Teachers are working on report cards.  Families can expect to receive their child’s report card between April 1-10.  Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
INTERNET ACCESS
Spectrum has confirmed that every area on O'ahu is covered by their service. If you have not had their internet service in the past 60 days and are in need, please call 1-844-488-8395 between 7am-10pm (Hawai'i time) and ask for their Free COVID-19 program for education. A tech will come out to set up a router free of charge.
Know that we are thinking of you and can’t wait to see you again.  Take Care!
Ms. Arikawa
