February 22 @ 7:45-11:40 at Sacred Hearts Academy: FREE Science Symposium 4 Girls (5th to 8th Grade): Girls in grades 5-8 will have the opportunity to participate in two STEM based workshops choosing from 21 exciting options, while their parents attend a Parents Only session presented by keynote speaker, Deena White Tearney, Founder & CEO of Pacific Point, and a panel of STEM experts. Carnival from 11am - 11pm and admission is free. Enjoy 2 days of family fun. Theme this year
is Music through the ages: A chart topping carnival. Includes rides, games,
silent auctions, an art gallery, white-elephant sale, live entertainment and
food such as malasadas, mango chutney and much more. Some booths accept credit
cards but most are cash. Buy scrip for
Punahou sponsored activities such as game booths. And purchase a reloadable
FunPass to pay for rides operated by EK Fernandez. Proceeds benefit students

Great Aloha Run at Ala Moana Beach Park. Program begins at 7am and run starts at
7:30. This Mile and half run/walk along the beach road within the park creates
a safe and fun opportunity for kids to run and experience the joy of a
healthier Hawaii. If you did not preregister you can arrive by 6:30 and look
for sponsor table near the start line to pay cash for registration, and
remember to mention our school to get money for our PE department. Your $20

Family Day at the Opera from 10am - noon for free
On Saturday
morning, Hawaiʻi Opera Theatre offers free backstage tours of
Mozart’s The Marriage
of Figaro. Kids can try on costumes in the concert
hall, play with stage props and listen to live
performances by HOT’s Orvis Opera Studio and radio host Louise King
Lanzilotti. Coin-operated parking meters are available on streets near the
center (Ward, Kinau, Kapiʻolani and King). Otherwise, you can
pay $8 to park in the Blaisdell Center’s covered structure. Please note that
a cannabis expo is happening in the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall at the same

hear from experts on wetland biodiversity, visit educational and interactive
