Fri. May 9       Plant Doctor at Wahiawa Botanical Garden at 9:30 for free.  Bring leaf samples in a sealed plastic bag, along with questions for the plant doctor.  Participants will also learn about soil, plant selection, propagation techniques and more. Sat. May 11          Innovation Day at Leilehua High School from 9am - 12 for free. Stop by Leilehua High School to explore coding, cybersecurity & more. Technology brings change at a rapid rate and the Leilehua Complex Schools are providing programs to prepare kids for these changes. Our Complex is rolling out a Computer Science Initiative that will give our students skills to thrive. Food will be available for purchase.


Sat. May 11    Mililani Public Library used book sale from 9am - 3pm. Find bargains on a variety of books, CD's, DVD's, and more at 95-450 Maka'imo'imo Street

Sat. May 11    Mililani Orchid Club presents it's annual Orchid Display and Plant sale from 8am - 2pm at Mililani Mauka Elementary school cafeteria.  Admission is free though donations are welcome.



Sat. May 11                  HOT Family Day at the Opera from 11am - 1pm.  Take your keiki to the opera this Saturday to play with backstage lights and sounds, don costumes, play with props and watch live mini performances. This special program is free and an ideal way to introduce children to the world of theater and opera. If you want to see La Traviata before its May 17-21 performance dates, you can purchase reduced tickets for $7 per person to the final dress rehearsal. Sat. May 11 & Sun, May 12     Hawaiʻi Pet Expo is at the Neal Blaisdell Center from 10am - 4pm and admission is free (parking is $6). Bring your family to the Hawaiʻi Pet Expo to watch pet tricks, visit educational displays and gather info on pet products and services. Pets are welcome, of course, but they must be in good health and under their owner’s control at all times. Dogs must be leashed.
