Fri. Feb. 15           Jump Rope for Heart - Each grade level jumps rope for 20 minutes.
                           Requested donation of $1.00 per person to American Heart Association. Parents are invited to come jump with your student to promote a healthy heart and lifestyle on the covered play court

Fri. Feb. 8 .    Chinese New Year at Mililani Shopping Center from 5pm - 7pm for free. Celebrate the Year of the Pig.  5pm Arts & Crafts and more. 5:30 Asian Lion Dance Team, Chinese Martial Arts Demonstration, Firecrackers and traditional Lion Dance.  6 -7 Follow the lions around both sides of the center for traditional lion dance to bring good fortune for the New Year! mililanishoppingcenter.com

Fri. Feb. 8 .    Paint & Sip at Schofield Barracks Arts & Crafts at Tropics.  Learn to paint a piece of art on canvas while enjoying your drink. Register at Schofield Arts & Crafts for $35. per person (one wine or tropical drink included. Must be 18 years or older, no exceptions) . Sat. Feb. 9 .    Helemano Elementary PTO Swap Meet and Extravaganza from 8am - 12 noon at Helemano Elementary school cafeteria, 1001 Ihi Ihi Avenue in Whitmore Village.  Over 50 vendors will be selling things from new/used items (toys, games, clothes, housewares, electronics, etc.) also Arts, crafts, game booths, Jamba Juice, Pizza Hut and lots more.

Sat. Feb. 9 .    Keiki Great Aloha Run especially for 5 - 12 year olds and their 'ohana. Run starts at 7:30am at Ala Moana Beach Park. Join the 1 mile run along the beach road within the park.  Must have preregistered for this run.

Sun. Feb. 10 .    11th Annual 'Ukulele Picnic in Hawai'i at Victoria Ward Park in Honolulu starting at 9am for free.  This annual event features local and international 'ukulele musicians performing on 2 stages. Guests will also enjoy more than 30 different vendors offering Hawaiian crafts, international food and drinks, activities for kids and a luxury 'ukulele raffle, as well as top brands to purchase.  ukulelepicnicinhawaii.org . 980 Auahi Street

March 16   You may have already heard the buzz, but there is a new keiki run, the Keiki Rainbow Run, www.kahoomiki.org., on March 16, 2019. There are several keiki runs that families can choose from this year, but what sets the Keiki Rainbow Run apart is that:
Our core members are committed to this being a healthy, family-friendly event that raises funds for school's P.E. and nutrition programs;
For the Early Registrations, 100% of the $15 fee will be donated to schools;
Our policy is to align the products served with our messaging; hence, no sugary beverages will be served;
The Keiki Rainbow Run is a fun, healthy, and educational event featuring an un-timed 1.2-mile run for keiki and their families. Following the run, each keiki will receive a t-shirt and healthy snacks and can enjoy the post-run activities at the Healthy Keiki Fest. 
§  Water refill stations will be available, so please bring reusable bottles to stay hydrated
§  Intergenerational eventParents, kūpuna, and supporters of all ages are welcomed!
§  Event participants will start in 3 age groups (10-12, 7-9, and 6 and under)
§  Unfortunately, strollers are not allowed at this event
§  University of Hawaii at Manoa – Clarence T.C. Ching Field (1337 Lower Campus Road, Honolulu, HI 96822)  Program starts at 7:15 a.m. – Run starts at 8:00 a.m.
