If you have not yet completed your Federal Impact Aid Forms return it to your child's teacher ASAP.

We are still missing 131 cards and need to have one for every student.  We have several that are missing information and others that were never returned. Please fill out the highlighted areas "military unit or work address".

Meals and Snacks
Many students on our campus have various allergies which can be life threatening.  We ask that you please do not send peanut products to school with your child. Some children will experience a reaction through ingestion as well as casual contact.  Sharing meals or snacks with others during recess or lunch is not permitted.


School Community Council (SCC)Meeting Dec. 10, 2018 3:00-5:00 p.m in the Office Conference Room 
Everyone is invited to attend.  Join the dialogue! The purpose of the meeting is to:
            Review Academic Plan and Financial Plan
            Consider the recommendation of revisions to the plan to principal
            Review evidence of school progress on the implementation of the Academic Plan
            Request for waivers to policy rules, procedures, to improve student achievement
            Provide recommendations for revising or creating new school level policies and procedures
            Review principal’s determination of school repair and maintenance needs

PTO Notes
Candy cane gram deadline has been extended until December 14. Please include classroom on the form as you turn it in. This will help them get delivered on Dec. 20.

Winter Dance on Dec. 7 is from 6 - 7:30 and intended for all families to attend together.  No students should be dropped off without a parent.  Lots of fun dancing music and holiday crafts to make and cookies to eat.  Kona Ice will be here also.

Fri. Dec. 14           PTO General Membership Meeting at 8 in Q207. Food provided- all welcome
                           Pre-School Holiday performance in the cafeteria from 8:30 - 8:45

              14th annual Jingle Bell Run.  Please bring $1.00 to donate to the American Red Cross to support victims of the California wildfires.  Each grade level comes to the field at their designated time to donate and then run or walk the big field to music for 30 minutes. Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes. Parents can come to run or walk with their child.
PreK/K is  9-9:30 --1st is 9:30-10--  2nd is 10-10:30---  3rd is 10:30-11--- 4th is  11-11:30--- 5th is 11:30-12


Community Events

Fri. Dec. 7 .    Wahiawa Christmas Parade at 6:30 pm up California Avenue.  Many parade marchers from school and community groups, bands and Santa. Expect road closures

Sat. Dec. 8  Opening Night of Kapolei City Lights from 5pm - 9pm for free. Oʻahu’s Second City will have its opening festivities Saturday with an electric light parade along Kapolei Parkway, free photos with Santa, food booths and carnival games in the courtyard of Kapolei Hale. From 6 to 7 p.m., watch the parade from Fort Barrette Road to Kama’aha Avenue, then head to Kapolei Hale for the tree-lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. When parking for free in the Kakuhihewa State lot, please enter through the entrance on Ulu'ohi'a Street and stay in the left lane. Sat. Dec. 8 .    Aiea Community Christmas Parade and Fun fair. Parade begins at Pearl Ridge Park at 9am and heads east on Moanalua Road, turns left onto Ka'amilo Street, right on Ulune Street and then end at Family Fun Fair at the old sugar mill site on Halewiliko Street near Aiea Public Library. The fair will go until 2pm and will feature food booths, children's games and entertainment. aieaparade@yahoo.com

Sat. Dec. 8 .    Mele Kalikimaka Marketplace and gingerbread Workshop at the Blaisdell exhibition Hall from 10am - 5pm entrance is $3 or $4.  Visit a one stop local holiday shop catering to visitors and residents who are looking for holiday gifts and family activities.  There will also be a workshop where attendees can decorate a house, learn the history of gingerbread and enjoy a storytime. melekalikimakamarketplace.com

Sat. Dec. 7 & 8 .    Waipahu Town Center Carnival and Parade.  Friday from 4pm - 8pm keiki carnival rides, food and vendor booths and games.  Sat. Dec. 8 11am - 8pm keiki carnival rides, , food and vendor booths. 1pm - 8pm Game booths.  Parade starts at 3 until 3:45, Parade starts at Waipahu District Park, down Paiwa Street, right on Farrington Hwy, right on Pupukahi, left on Waipahu Street, left on Leoku Street, right on Leolua Street ending at Waipahu Shopping Plaza Center.  4pm - 7pm entertainment.  Free pictures with Santa Claus inside Seafood city from 4pm - 7:30pm.  94-050 Farrington Hwy in Waipahu (808)677-6700
