Save the date December 11 for Parenting Craft Workshop.  Parents are invited to create several holiday crafts in Q207 from 8am - 9:30.  Hear some great ideas for stressing less at the holidays and have fun crafting.

Join us after school on Tuesday, December 4 from 2:20-3:30 to celebrate The Hour of Code.  You and your school-age children will learn more about computer programming and coding through hands-on activities.  Discover free online resources and test out some of the latest coding robots before you purchase any!

Fri. Nov. 30          Complex Volleyball tournament for 5th graders on the team
                           Boxtops for Education labels classroom bags feed the monster collection can.  Make sure your classroom is on it so that your class gets credit. Or turn in to your teacher and remind them to turn in classroom bag to the can today.

Mon. Dec. 3          Kindergarten Field Trip to Honolulu Theater for Youth & Honolulu Hale

Tues. Dec. 4          3rd Grade Field Trip to Polynesian Cultural Center
                           Hour of Code after school event for families from 2:30 - 3:30

Wed. Dec. 5          Off Campus Evacuation for the entire school leaving at 8:30

Thurs. Dec. 6        Chaperone Training in PCNC corner of front office from 8:00 – 8:30

Fri. Dec. 7            Winter Dance in the cafe from 6pm - 7:30. $10 per family payable in advance. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Come to dance & eat cookies & Kona Ice

Community Events

Fri. Nov. 30     Food Truck Friday at Solomon Elementary from 4pm - 8pm in the front parking lot.  Vendors like Taco truck, SGT Dog, Kona Ice, Jamba Juice and more.

Dec. 1 .    Rhea Lana's semi annual children's consignment event that features high quality children's merchandise at affordable prices.  When you shop Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9am - 9pm and bring the flier, our school gets 10% of all sales.  They are open Nov. 25 - Dec. 9 but school only profits on Dec. 1.  Location is former Toys R Us in Aiea at 98-211 Pali Momi Street

Sat. Dec. 1 .    Mililani Christmas Parade 9am - 10:30am.  Over 1500 parade marchers including bands, antique cars, local businesses, school and community groups and Santa Claus.  Parade will travel down Kipapa Drive from Mililani Shopping Center. Right on Moenamanu Street, Left on Kuahelani Ave, Right on Meheula Parkway, Left on Lanikuhana Ave and ending at Town Center of Mililani. Expect road closures.

Sat. Dec. 1 .    Mililani YMCA teens are hosting a vendor fair/garage sale to help raise money for their youth and government program.  The garage sale will go from 7am - 2pm with vendors joining at 10am. The Mililani Holiday parade will be happening during the morning so plan accordingly.

Sat. Dec. 1  We’re Dreaming of a White Christmas at Mililani Shopping Center from 9am - 12 noon for free with a new toy or book donation. Donate an unwrapped new toy or book to the Toys for Tots program and get a wristband to enter the “snow play zone.” There will be holiday crafts to make and take home, keiki games and prizes, and Santa photos for a fee. Please be aware that the Mililani Holiday Parade is from 9 to 10:30 a.m., so use alternate routes and expect traffic delays. Sat. Dec. 1  Santa Saturday at Kapolei Shopping Center from 11am - 1:30pm for Free. Nearly 12 tons of snow will fall this Saturday in the parking lot of Kapolei Shopping Center, where keiki can make mini snowmen and leave their marks with snow angels. This free event will have holiday-themed crafts for kids, carnival games and prizes, and a booth to register little ones for Keiki ID cards. Sat. Dec. 1 .    Honolulu City Lights - opening night festivities and public workers electric light parade from 4pm - 11pm for free. There will be keiki rides, souvenir booths, food trucks and a star-studded holiday concert. The ionic Shaka Santa and Tutu Mele are ready for Saturday’s block party on the corner of King and Punchbowl streets. Arrive around 4 p.m. for a good parking spot and the best selections of poi mochi, bao, shave ice, Thai noodles and other treats from 14 food vendors on Punchbowl Street. The Norfolk tree will light up at 6 p.m., followed by the electric light parade that will pass in front of Honolulu Hale at 6:30 p.m. And for the children: Kiddie rides (mini carousel and ferris wheel, swinging pirate ship and helicopter) will start moving at 4 p.m., and Santa will be in the Mission Memorial Auditorium to take photos at 7:30 p.m. Free parking is available in the Fasi Municipal Building—the underground garage at the corner of Beretania and Alapa'i Streets.honolulucitylights.org.   Honolulu Hale and Fasi Civic Center, 530 S. Sun, Dec. 2 .    Christmas Craft Fair at Leilehua High School in the cafeteria. 9am - 2pm. Lots of door prizes and craft booths, ono food, shave ice, bake sale and live entertainment.  Still accepting vendors, email: LHSbandboosters96786@gmail.com

Fri. Dec. 7 .    Wahiawa Christmas Parade at 6:30 pm up California Avenue.  Many parade marchers from school and community groups, bands and Santa. Expect road closures
