PTO really appreciates families supporting their fundraisers. All money raised goes to support school programs. Everyone is invited to PTO General Membership Meeting later this month to vote on budget for the year and see all the great school programs that are supported by PTO funds.

Sat. Sept. 8 . Blue Zones Project offers 2 free workshops at 1777 Eames St. in Wahiawa. The first features Norman Oshiro of MOA Hawai'i, who will discuss healing through flowers from 9 - 10am. Following that, master gardener and chef Lee Lewis will hold a cooking demonstration from 10am - noon. Check in 15 minutes before each session begins. Pre-registration is required. Call 808-367-3471

Fri. Sept. 14 EFMP is hosting Coffee Talk at Green
World Coffee Farm from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. This month's Coffee Talk is about
getting organized. Families will have an opportunity to make a binder for their
Exceptional Family Member. The binder will be filled with their important
documents so in case of an emergency or when they need to travel to their next
duty station, parents can grab the binder and go.

Public Library’s 90th Anniversary Celebration from 9am - 2pm for Free. Celebrate Waialua Public Library’s birthday
with free cake and ice cream, entertainment and activities at the Waialua
Bandstand. Children’s musician Jeff Cicatko, also known as “Ice Cream Man,”
will be singing his original kids’ songs at 11:30 a.m. Visit Bungie the Clown
for a face painting or balloon animal and check out the community tent for
activities and a book sale. There will also be live performances of Scottish

Sat. Sept. 16 Aloha Festival's Keiki Ho‘olaule‘a from 10am - 3pm for Free. Celebrate the Aloha Festival with an event
for children and families. Weave coconut palm fronds, make a ti leaf lei
and a rubbing using real leaves and create art about “What Aloha Means to
Me.” There will be hula and musical performances by and for keiki as well as a
Keiki ID card station and a new keiki conch shell blowing contest. Buy
an Aloha Festivals ribbon for $7 at the event and receive discounts from

Sun. Sept. 17 Bank of Hawai‘i Family Sunday: Abstract Expressions at the Honolulu Museum of art for Free
from 11am - 3pm. Look at abstract art and then make your own. You and your
keiki will get to see a new exhibit by Satoru Abe and Harry Tsuchidana. Once inspired, children will create a
garden tree sculpture and a colorful collage drawing. Need to burn off energy?
Dance to live African and Latin-inspired music. Or cool off in an
air-conditioned theater and watch short films from the New York International
Childen’s Film Festival. A free trolley will take you to Spalding House where
keiki can use mirrors to create collages and craft a mini neighborhood that fits

will be hosting Sensory Movie Night from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Porter Community
Center theater. Sherlock Gnomes. Seats are limited to 25, so families will need

theater.
