Going Green events collect unlimited
e-waste like computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and a limit of 1 TV per
car. With the help
of cheerful volunteers, you can drive through the parking lot and recycle all kinds of
batteries, used cooking oil, HI-5 beverage containers, used eye glasses and
hearing aids, usable clothing, prom dresses, women’s business apparel and
accessories, blankets and towels for pets, and canned goods for the Hawaii Food
Bank.
To prevent identity theft, free shredding by Shred It is offered at
Leilehua High School’s Going Green event thanks to Rep. Lei Learmont for
hosting the event.
