10/25 - 11/1


Unity chains now welcome you to our school.  Every student was given orange link and asked to write what makes them unique. The links were formed into a classroom chain because together we are stronger.  Orange shows we are united against bullying; encouraging kindness, acceptance and aloha.

Fri. Oct. 25        Fall Festival 2:30 - 5:30 on our back field. Games, bouncers, entertainment (including 25th ID band, keiki dance classes and little ninjas perform, talent show and more), food trucks, vendor fair in the playcourt.  Make sure your child signs in binder to give their class a chance to win participation prize. Binder is located by ticket sale booth outside playcourt.  Prepaid tickets can be picked up at HQ tent in the middle of the field.  HQ tent also has great opportunity prizes that you have chance to win and first aid if necessary.

Tues. Oct. 29      Walking School Bus - Meet at 7:30 and walk to school together
Consider joining our group and walking to school together.  A Walking School Bus is an organized walk to school supported with adult chaperones and helps reduce traffic in school areas. This activity promotes healthy habits and exercising daily to keep our kids healthy, safer, and connects kids to their neighborhoods. We will gather in 2 locations: Canby Park grassy area and walk through Stoneman Field or behind the Chapel at corner of Ayres and Cadet Sheridan. We will gather at 7:15 and leave to walk to school together at 7:30.  Parents are invited to walk with us, or sign permission form and leave your child with us to walk with group.

Sat. Oct. 26 .    Creepy keiki craft time at 10am at Wahiawa Public Library. Call 808-622-6345

Sat. Oct. 26          Waimea Valley Make a Difference Day from 8:30am - 2pm for free. A local spin on "Make a Difference Day"—a national program encouraging people to volunteer in their communities—takes place Saturday morning at Waimea Falls. Keiki and their families can pull weeds, clear the rainforest, pick up litter and take on other roles assigned by age groups (0-8, 9-12, 12+ and 16+). Tools are provided. Bring gloves, closed-toe shoes, mosquito spray, sunblock, hat, rain jackets, water and lunch. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Pikake Pavilion. Sun. Oct. 27     Kids fest at Bishop Museum 10am - 2pm for free. Hawai'i Pacific Health presents this event where families can enjoy more than 30 fun and challenging educational health activities while also learning important tips. Sun. Oct. 27 .    Keiki Costume Contest at Hale'iwa Store Lots (by Matsumoto shave ice) from 2pm - 6pm. Keiki can enter a costume contest on the North Shore. 66-111 Kamehameha Hwy, haleiwastorelots.com

Thurs. Oct. 31 .    Mililani Shopping Center celebrates Halloween with Mummy's Night Out from 5pm - 7pm.  Features costume contests, trick or treating and activities. mililanishoppingcenter.com

Nov. 2 .    Day at Lake Wilson from 8am - 3pm for free. Food, entertainment, crafts and vendors. Welcome to Lake Wilson, one of the largest freshwater reservoirs in Hawaii. Explore this great natural resource in historic Wahiawa. Nov. 2 & 3 .    Oh Baby! Family Expo at Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall from 10am - 5pm. Hawai'is Largest Baby and kids expo with over 150 vendors. Play the best stem toys of 2019. Nov. 2      Agricultural Awareness Day at UH Urban Garden Center from 8am - 11:30am at it's Pearl city location.  Arbor Day Tree Giveaway. Expect agricultural and environmental exhibits, plant sales and more.  call 808-453-6050
