Hawaii Pacific University offers Reading Skills and Speed Reading Programs for Children and Adults other summer in Honolulu, Pearl City and Kaneohe. These popular summer classes are taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development. All programs meet once each week and last for a month; either June or July. Classes separated by the grade level the student enters next school year. To register or receive more information, please call (800) 834-3693 Monday - Friday from 5am - 4pm. Summer Youth Programs at Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor. Explorer Club is 3 or 4 day camp for grades 3
– 5. The world of history, aviation and aerospace comes alive in these popular
elementary level programs with a focus on creativity, teamwork and discovery.
Program includes lunch and snacks each day and a logo T shirt. Member price for
3 days is $150 and non members pay $180.
Flight School is 5 day camp for grades 6 – 8. Spend an action packed week
discovering the world of aviation through exciting STEM activities. Experiment
with the forces of flight cargo loading, weather and atmosphere flight planning
