Community Events

Sat. March 31 .    Fun Fest Earth Day and LTS Travel Fair from 9am - 2pm on Weyand Field on Schofield Barracks.  Enjoy a fun filled day of family activities with  games, rides, petting zoo, stage entertainment, pony rides, Easter Bunny photos, keiki obstacle course, inflatables, food booths and more.  Travel Fair includes recreational vendors from around the island and prize giveaways.  Earth day activities like upcycling crafts, coloring activities, artifacts search, sustainability and natural resources educational activities. 
Free Egg hunts (20, 000 eggs filled with candy and toys. schedule: Ages 0 - 2 from 11am - 11:15 only one adult allowed per child
Ages 3-5 from 11:15 - 11:30 only one adult allowed per child
Ages 6-8 from 11:30 - 11:45 no adults allowed on the field
Ages 9-12 from 11:45 - 12:00 no adults allowed on the field

Sat. March 31 .    Wahiawa Community Festival from 11am - 8pm at 55 Kamehameha Hwy. Surfing the Nations presents a festival featuring activities for all age groups. food vendors, games and live music. bounce house, dunking booth, cakewalk and more.  surfingthenations.com

Sat. March 31 .    Wahiawa Shopping Center and Town Center have free festival of fun from 10am - 1pm. There will be keiki rides, carnival games, prizes, Easter Bunny photos and an egg hunt for keiki ages 3-10. 808-783-1705

March 31 & April 1 .    Waikiki Artfest at Kapiolani Park by the Bandstand from 9am - 4pm. featuring original handmade in Hawai'i apparel, jewelry, woodwork, ceramic, unique crafts and art. Also music, entertainment and food.

 For the safety of our students we will be closing the cattle gates to enter the parking lot at 1:30 (12:30 on Wednesday).

Lost and Found will all be donated over Spring Break.  
There are several large garbage bags of items that have been lost this Quarter.  Please come to the office and ask to look for your lost items by close of school on March 16 or it will be donated to the Thrift Store on post. 

PTO nominations for next years board are due no later than March 27.  Talk to your friends and gather your people around you and put them on nomination forms. Many positions available, so step up and make a positive change in your child's school. All names on nomination forms will be verified and confirmed and vote will take place in late April.  Any questions, just stop by P15B or dkinouyepto@gmail.com


If you will be leaving, PCSing or moving out of our housing area please contact the office so that they can get a release packet ready for your child.

March 16 .         Last day to pre order yearbooks by filling out paper form and sending in money is today.  Online order option will be accepted until March 27 at https://www.yearbookordercenter.com.  Use order # 20516 and process your online payment and yearbook order. Fri. March 16 .    Kindness rocks in Kaena Community Center from 2pm - 4:30pm. Come decorate a rock and share some kindness. 

Fri. March 16 .    25th Infantry Division Band presents a Spring Concert at Ala Moana Mall Center Stage from 7pm - 8pm. Free and open to the public

March 23, 24, 25 .       64th annual Kunia Orchid Show & Plant Sale at the Leilehua High in the Gymnatorium. Friday & Saturday from 9am - 5pm and Sunday from 9am - 4pm.  Free admission but donations appreciated. Door Prizes given daily.Demonstrations and lectures at 10:30 & 1pm each day. 

March 24 .    Easter Bunny hops into Mililani Shopping Center from 10am - 12noon.  The free event promises egg-cellent activities on both sides of the center, including toy rides, a petting zoo, activities, and more.  Keiki also are welcome to visit with the Easter Bunny for a free treat and picture taking.  95-221 Kipapa Drive visit mililanishoppingcenter.com

March 3 – April 8 Butterfly Conservatory Mondays to Saturdays from 10am – 9pm and Sundays 10am – 6pm.  The butterflies are coming back to Pearlridge Center this weekend. See the life cycle of these colorful creatures – all raised on local farms – from egg to chrysalis to butterfly, first-hand. Everyone will get to feed a butterfly, and, if you’re really lucky, one will land on you too. Stick around for a craft activity, listen to a storytime with the Hungry Caterpillar or purchase your own Caterpillar Kit to take home.. While you’re at the mall, you can also get photos with the Easter Bunny.

Sat. April 28 .        Ellison Onizuka day of Exploration at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall fro 9m - 3pm.  This is Hawaii's Largest STEM event and it is free and open to the public.  Family fun and over 44 hands on science exploration stations brought to you by the Aloha Council, Boy Scouts of America.

March 9, 10, 11 .    Honolulu Festival with Nagaoka fireworks on March 11 at 8:30 on Waikiki Beach. Parade down Kalakaua Ave on Saturday morning.  www.honolulufestival.com

Sat. March 10 .    Dole Plantation's family Fun Day from 10am - 2pm. This FREE annual event with entertainment provided by Central Oahu school groups, clubs and other organizations. Live musical performances, prize giveaways, arts and crafts, games and a lot of family friendly laughs with Augie T.  Regular attractions are discounted this day. Entrance to Pineapple Garden Maze and Garden are buy one and get one free. Also Train Tour is reduced rate.

Sun. March 11 .    Mililani YMCA 3rd annual Splash Dash from 10am - 1pm  is an event open to all ages.  Bring your family, friends and loved ones. There will be several water obstacles, a water slide, water bounce house, slip n slide, and many more.  When you participate in the Splash Dash, you'll be helping us raise funds for our annual campaign, where 100% of the money raised goes to support our community with financial assistance for programs and memberships. you will be able to walk, skip, ho, run, jump bounce crawl and slide through our outrageous water course, and you will get wet. Our school will receive $3 from each designated entry for the HONOLULU Family Fun Run. This year’s registration has opened. Remember to choose our school at registration so that we receive $3 from each entry.
