Fri. Nov. 17               Field Trip for 5th Grade to Wheeler Middle school for band concert

                     PTO first Popcorn Friday for the year - Preordered bags of delicious popcorn will be delivered to classrooms before school ends.

Mon. Nov. 20           School Community Council Meeting 3pm – 5pm

Tues. Nov. 21 .          School starts at 7;55 every day. Be on time or get tardy slip from office.

Wed. Nov. 22           Turkey Trot – each student is encouraged to donate canned food, dress comfortably, wear closed toe shoes & walk or run to the music for 20 minutes by the basketball courts and O building

Fri. Nov. 17 .    Wahiawa Botatical Garden Learn how to make a ti leaf lei from noon - 1:30pm.  FREE but reservation required, call 808-522-7066

Fri. Nov. 17   EFMP Sensory Movie Night "CARS 3"-Join EFMP for a Family friendly sensory movie night, $2 PER PERSON. 7pm. Where: SGT Smith Movie Theater. Register at http://www.trumba.com/calendars/army_community_service_calendar or call EFMP at 808-655-4227 for questions.

Sat. Nov. 18 .    Ka'ala Elementary School Annual Recycling Day from 9am - 1pm.  Preserve natural resources by going green and donating e-waste like computers, monitors, printers scanners and televisions.  Accepting batteries, HI-5 beverage containers, used eyeglasses, and hearing aids. Usable clothing, prom dresses, women't business apparel and accessories, blankets, towels, canned goods.  The public can drive to the Ka'ala Elem. School parking lot at 130 California Ave, and be greeted by cheerful and helpful volunteers who will unload vehicles of donations of recyclable materials, knowing that nothing goes into the landfills.  So exciting!
     The following are items that will NOT be accepted: Tires, Paint, Metal, Motor oil, Cardboard, Paper, Plastics, Wood, Bulky items, Hazardous fluids

Sat. Nov. 18 .    Mililani High School Athletic Boosters Club hosts a Craft Fair from 9am - 2pm.  In the school gym and courtyard. Call 808-220-6440

Sat. Nov. 18 .    Friends of Mililani Public Library host a used book sale from 9am - 3pm. Offering bargains on books, CD's and DVD's. Call 808-627-7470

Sat. Nov. 18     Lyon Arboretum Holiday Plant and Craft Sale from 9am – 2pm.  FREE and open to all ages.  Shop for wreaths made from local greens, ornaments or new flowers, trees and plants for the holiday season at this annual event. Get there early so you can find on-street parking (a shuttle will take people to the arboretum), stop by the Keiki Activity booth for hands-on lessons in nature, then browse the handmade holiday decorations and Hawaiian honey products. Bring a picnic lunch, bug repellent and make sure to save some time to explore the hidden trails in one of our favorite free gardens. We tried it!  See our guide for where to explore, what you’ll find and why you may want to call before walking to the waterfall. 3660 Manoa Road in Honolulu, 808-988-0456

Sun. Nov. 19 .    Wiki Wiki one day Vintage Collectibles and Hawaiiana Show at the Blaisdell Center's Hawai'i Suites from 10:30 - 4:30. Guests will be able to peruse and purchase festive collectibles and antiques. General admission is $4.50 with early entry at 9:30 for $15.  For more information visit ukulele.com/wikiwiki.html
