Fri. Nov. 10 .            NO SCHOOL - Veteran's Day Holiday. Thank you for your service!

Mon. Nov. 13           School starts at 7:55 every day - be on time or get tardy slip

Tues. Nov. 14           Chaperone Training in PCNC corner of front office from 8am – 8:30am

Big Draw Family event 2:30 – 3:30. Bring your family to many crafty stations, PTO bake sale and vote on yearbook cover

Wed. Nov. 15           Field trip for ½ 5th Grade to Museum of Art (A1, A2)
                                    Dominos fundraiser all day long – order from Dominos on post and school profits

Thurs. Nov. 16         Copy Training in PCNC corner of front office from 8:00am – 9:00, no kids
                                   last day to Turn in $1.00 for popcorn. Will be delivered tomorrow


Fri. Nov. 17               Field Trip for 5th Grade to Wheeler Middle school for band concert
                     
                                  PTO first Popcorn Friday for the year - Preordered bags of delicious popcorn will be delivered to classrooms before school ends.

Community Events

Sat. Nov. 11 .    Wahiawā Lions Club 71st Veterans Day Parade
Honor veterans at the Wahiawā Lions Club Veterans Day Parade. The Royal Hawaiian Band will lead the parade as current and former service members march alongside military vehicles and pass out American flags for keiki to wave. There will also be taiko drum and elementary school ʻukulele groups, JROTC, marching bands and scouts. After the parade, there will be a ceremony at Wahiawā Town Center inlcuding anthems, speeches and trophies for the best units. Arrive early to find a place to sit along California Avenue. Streets close at 9:30 a.m., but there should be ample parking on side streets.Parade starts at 10am from Ka'ala Elementary. Look for our own school JPO's
Sat. Nov. 11 .         Wheeler Middle School 5th Annual Holiday Bazaar 9am - 2pm in the cafeteria.  Get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Shop from dozens of local artists and your favorite companies. Entertainment, food, opportunity drawings and more. 

  • Friday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The craft fair is only on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi Art and Book Sale at Washington Middle School Cafeteria, 1633 S. King Street in Honolulu
  • Look for bargains on books, art and crafts at this three-day sale. Go early on Friday to get first pick of around 2,500 gently used children’s books, most of which cost $3 or less. There will also be CDs, DVDs, adult books and art to choose from. The art is all donated by the public and organizers say it is priced well below market value. Prices start at $5 and go up to $750. On Saturday, you can also shop for clothes, baked goods and crafts and buy plate lunches from the “You Hungry” food truck.

Wed. Nov. 15   EFMP Turkey Trot-Join EFMP, CYS Youth Sport and Outdoor Rec for a fun filled event with an obstacle course, battle balls and other activities starts at 2pm.
