Thurs. Dec. 7            Field Trip for 2nd Grade to Hawaiian Plantation Village
Hour of Code after school family event 2:30 – 3:30.  Parents will be participating with their child side by side at each station.

Fri. Dec. 8                 Complex Volleyball Tournament for 4th & 5th graders on the team
                                    Kindergarten Family Winter activity 1:00 – 2:00 in the cafeteria

Fri. Dec. 1 .    Wahiawa Christmas Parade starts at 6:30pm at Ka'ala Elementary and goes to Longs where Santa ends the parade by stepping out of his sleigh and visiting at Longs parking Lot.  ourwahiawa.com

Sat. Dec. 2 .    Mililani Hometown Holiday Parade from 9am - 10:30am. Starts at Mililani High School Stadium traveling past Mililani Shopping Center and ending at Town Center of Mililani by 24 Hour Fitness 

Sat. Dec. 2 .    Mililani Parade ends at Mililani Shopping Center and from 10am - noon next to Foodland with games, make and take crafts, prize giveaways. By First Hawaiian Bank and Goodyear Tire there is a snow play zone- bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots to receive a wristband for the snow play zone.  visit with Santa, and other activities.  www.mililanishoppingcenter.com

sat. Dec. 2 .    Town Center of Mililani holiday Parade After-Party from 10am - 1pm. Santa Visits from 10am - 1pm, music and entertainment, keiki fun, including arts & crafts and airbrush tattoos. 

Sat. Dec. 2 .    Honolulu City lights kicks off its opening night from 4pm - 11pm at Honolulu Hale.  The seasonal ceremony will feature food booths, keiki rides. the public workers electric lights parade begins at 6pm, the mayor's Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a holiday concert, a visit from Santa Claus 7:30 - 9 at  and more. honolulu.gov/csd

Sun. Dec. 3 .    Pearl City Annual Christmas Parade starts at 4pm. Parade runs from Momilani Elementary school to Pearl city Shopping Center. Marching will be high school bands, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, title holders, costumed characters, car clubs, community groups and more. mypearlcity.com

Fri. Dec. 8    Sibling Support Class "Poki'i Support-This is a class for siblings of Exceptional Family Members at 5:30pm. Class is full of fun upbeat activities for siblings to enjoy and get to know other siblings of Exceptional Family Members. Where: Army Community Service. Thank you for supporting our Turkey Trot.  We surpassed our goal of canned goods donated. Mahalo for your generous donation of over 1100 canned goods.

Just a friendly reminder that the front parking lot and the front grass parking lot are reserved for teachers and staff members.
Please park across the street if you will be walking your child to class or picking up your child from school.
Also, Please do not park behind and block staff vehicles especially after school. 

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Nov. 25 .    Wahiawa Library hosts Book Sale from 10am - 2pm offering bargains on books, DVD's, CD's and LP's

Tues. Nov. 28 .    Tree Lighting Ceremony with entertainment and activities at General Loop from 5:30 - 7:30

  • Appearances by costumed characters
  • Announcement of Holiday Card Lane winners

Nov. 29 .         Wheeler Middle School Registration Information Night for current 5th graders at 4:00pm.  Meet some of the elective teachers. collect stickers for your top 2 choices of electives. Sat. Nov. 18 .    Ka'ala Elementary School Annual Recycling Day from 9am - 1pm.  Preserve natural resources by going green and donating e-waste like computers, monitors, printers scanners and televisions.  Accepting batteries, HI-5 beverage containers, used eyeglasses, and hearing aids. Usable clothing, prom dresses, women't business apparel and accessories, blankets, towels, canned goods.  The public can drive to the Ka'ala Elem. School parking lot at 130 California Ave, and be greeted by cheerful and helpful volunteers who will unload vehicles of donations of recyclable materials, knowing that nothing goes into the landfills.  So exciting!
     The following are items that will NOT be accepted: Tires, Paint, Metal, Motor oil, Cardboard, Paper, Plastics, Wood, Bulky items, Hazardous fluids

Sat. Nov. 18 .    Mililani High School Athletic Boosters Club hosts a Craft Fair from 9am - 2pm.  In the school gym and courtyard. Call 808-220-6440

Sat. Nov. 18 .    Friends of Mililani Public Library host a used book sale from 9am - 3pm. Offering bargains on books, CD's and DVD's. Call 808-627-7470

Sat. Nov. 18     Lyon Arboretum Holiday Plant and Craft Sale from 9am – 2pm.  FREE and open to all ages.  Shop for wreaths made from local greens, ornaments or new flowers, trees and plants for the holiday season at this annual event. Get there early so you can find on-street parking (a shuttle will take people to the arboretum), stop by the Keiki Activity booth for hands-on lessons in nature, then browse the handmade holiday decorations and Hawaiian honey products. Bring a picnic lunch, bug repellent and make sure to save some time to explore the hidden trails in one of our favorite free gardens. We tried it!  See our guide for where to explore, what you’ll find and why you may want to call before walking to the waterfall. 3660 Manoa Road in Honolulu, 808-988-0456

Sun. Nov. 19 .    Wiki Wiki one day Vintage Collectibles and Hawaiiana Show at the Blaisdell Center's Hawai'i Suites from 10:30 - 4:30.
