Write a haiku poem and draw a picture to enter the Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Art Contest. Deadline for submissions is October. 14. Submissions must include a 3 line 17 syllable haiku poem and 2-D original artwork (both on one 8 1/2 x 11 paper) which represent this year's theme, "Inspire" . Participants will be separated into 3 categories: grades 3 - 5, 6 - 8 & 9 - 12. One winner chosen from each group will receive a $100 cash prize in addition to onstage and print recognition.
