9/29 - 10/6

All students are building games for the School-wide Cardboard Challenge on Friday, October 6.  If you don't want to make the mess at home, come to our Eat, Play, Build Family event Monday, Oct. 2 from 5:30-7:00 and make the mess at school!  Ask your child's teacher if the class needs parents to help monitor game play on Friday from 12:30-2:00.  Games can be very simple!  Take a peek at this Pinterest Board or get inspired by watching Caine's Arcade.

Parents are welcome to shop the book fair with their child's class.  Check the schedule here (click the sales tab on the bottom left) or check with your child's teacher.   You can also shop our fair online until October 13 via this link.  Monies raised at the book fair help us buy books and support learning opportunities for students and families.  Thank you for supporting our Book Fair!

Bus Payment for Quarter 2  is being accepted now.  The office will be open during the Fall Break to accept payments or do any other business.

We continue to collect the Federal Impact Aid forms.  We have 160 forms that have yet to be returned.

If you have moved out of the hotel don't forget to turn in your address verification.  The office asks for at least 2 weeks notice to get a release packet together if you will be transferring to another school.

Parking for parents is across the street.  The parking lots connected to the school are reserved for the 100 staff employees

9/22 - 9/30

If your child is making his/her cardboard challenge game at home, check out these great ideas & ask your child what game he/she would like to make.  In the library, we've been "researching games" by playing cardboard challenge games created by students.  Students researched "what was fun" & "what would they change to make the game better."  Use this planning guide to help with the game design process.  Need more inspiration?  Be sure to watch Caine's Arcade & come to our family event, Eat, Play, Build on October 2 from 5:30-7:00. You can test out your child's game or build the game right then & there.

Health and Safety Committee Concerns from September 18, 2017.

1.  Concern: Parents riding bikes through the halls
Bikes should be parked in the racks and no one is permitted to ride their bike through campus.
If you must walk from one end of campus to the other, the rider must get off their bike and walk it.
