9/1 - 9/8

Special Lunches

Sometimes parents want to drop off special lunches (like fast food) to their child at school.
Please double check the start time of your childʻs lunch period.
We will permit a child to wait for 10 minutes beyond the start of their lunch period for their special lunch.
After that, we will send the child through the lunch line to purchase a meal and the family is responsible for repayment.
This ensures that our students eat and that their after lunch activities are not impacted due to an adultʻs tardiness.
Thank you for your understanding.
PreK - 10:15
Gr. K &1 - 10:40
Gr. 2 & 3 - 11:15

PARKING LOT SAFETY

Parents please do not run through the parking lot with your children!  Besides teaching them an unsafe practice, we had a near miss this morning.

A dad and his son ran through the parking lot, dad ran behind a car in the drop off lane and his son ran in front of the same car in the drop off lane. The driverʻs child already exited the car, she was about to pull forward and almost hit the young boy.

Thankfully she did not accelerate quickly to exit the drop off lane or he surely would have been hit.  We are thankful for her quick reaction and attentiveness.

Everyone in our school community must practice our Eagleʻs Pride - Take Care of Yourself.  Take Care of Others.  Take Care of Our School

Girls on the Run
We are fortunate to be able to offer the Girls on the Run program this school year to girls in Grades 3-5.
Take a look at the site and register AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you are interested.
If we do not make the minimum required for participation, we may have to forego this opportunity.

Support Leilehua athletic department
