Summer Fun

This will be the last Highlights for the year.  Have a happy safe summer and we will see you back in school August 7.

Summer reading Program at the Hawaii State Public Library.  Preregister online beginning May 23 at librarieshawaii.org.  Then come to the library beginning the week of June 4th to receive your mystery sign-up bonus, while supplies last.  Read and participate from anywhere, any time and with any smart device!  Free rewards and programs and activities and prize drawings.

June 3 from 10am - 1pm at the Hawaii State Library come build LEGO Hawaii at the Summer Reading Kick-Off. Create your favorite Hawai'i landmark at the free event. librarieshawaii.org

City and County of Honolulu offer Super Fun Programs at over 60 sites across Oahu. June 7 - July 21 8:30am - 2pm. Open to children who have completed kindergarten but not yet entered the 7th grade.  visit www.honoluluparks.com

Camp Kama'aina Kids offer day camp programs with swimming, sailing, weekly excursions, simple science, dancing and more.  For children in grades K - 8. register online at www.kamaainakids.com

YMCA of Honolulu offers day camps, summer school programs, swim lessons and specialty camps featuring hands on learning in sports, art, cooking and more for kids ages 6 - 13.  Also available Camp Erdman weeklong overnight camp adventure for kids age 7 - 17. Kids can hike, surf, play sports, swim, ride horses, get creative with art and gain confidence on a high ropes course.

Soccer Summer Camp at Central Oahu Regional Park May 30 - June 2 from 9am - 3pm.  All boys and girls age 6 - 14 are welcome.  Wear proper soccer attire including cleats, shin guards, ball, water bottle and sack lunch.  I got Skills Oahu Summer camp is for all players who want to improve their soccer skills.  Cost is $225. which includes camp T shirt.
