Author Visit & Field Day Finale

A wonderful opportunity happening Monday, May 22 from 2:20 - 3pm, an author is sharing her work. The DKIES Library welcomes author, Amira Shea!. Ms. Shea's books have captured the attention of our pre-K thru grade 1 students and we know you and your family will enjoy them too.  Ms. Shea will read her stories, answer your questions & even sell her books at a discounted price.

Toddlers and siblings are welcome.  Pick up your child after school Monday & make your way to the library.   We hope to see you there!

Field Day Notes

Many thanks to the generous parents that donated water bottles and rolls of tin foil!!!.  This really helped out.  Want to thank those that donated pop up canopies. They were great for sunny field day yesterday and they gathered crowds when the skies opened up this afternoon.  Canopies that were not picked up after school today are in J3 drying out.  You can get them on Monday.  Hope the kindergarteners and 1st graders had fun today for hour and half before the rain.  If only we could control the weather, sigh.  Last, thanks to the parents that came out to help and have fun with their kids.  

Medications in Health Room 

Parents need to come pick up their child's medication from the health room. No meds will be stored over the summer break. For medication in school year 2017/18 a new request needs to be filled out.
