5/12 - 5/19

Yearbooks are in!! You can pick up pre ordered yearbooks at the PTO room, P15 before and after school.  Limited numbers of yearbooks available for purchase for $25.00, Get them before they run out. (cash or check)

Field Days - parents are invited to attend and participate in stations with their children.  Parents that want to volunteer  for the entire 2 hours should come to the back field 30 minutes before that grade levels time for instructions and maps.  Seeking donations of TP rolls or tin foil, wax paper or saran wrap and any kind of partial rolls of tape.  Also cases of water bottles. All can be brought to the front office any time.  Also if we can borrow your pop up canopy for both days, you can bring to front office any time and pick up from the back field Friday afternoon.  Thank for your support

Tues. May 16             Book Swap & Jamba Juice afterschool at the cafeteria
                                                Bring a book and swap for another. Jamba smoothies $5.00

Wed. May 17           School is out every Wednesday at 1:10

Thurs. May 18                       Field Day for 4th & 5th grade 9:30 – 11:30 and 2nd & 3rd grade 12 - 2
Boxtop Labels will be  picked up from classrooms, but turn them in anytime

Fri. May 19                Field Day for kindergarten and 1st grade 11:15am – 1:15pm

Community Events

May 13     Mililani Orchid Club presents its annual Mother's Day Orchid Display from 8am - 2pm in the Mililani Mauka Elementary School cafeteria.  Admission if free although donations are welcome. Browse orchids, gift baskets, orchid plants and a country store.  Call 286-8577

May 13     Second Saturday at the UH Urban Garden Center from 8:30am - 11:30am. Free admission but $5 for workshop. Learn more about fruit fly control in a special workshop. Plus browse a plant and seed exchange, get advice from master gardeners, tour the center, see displays by Honolulu Rose Society and more. Pre-Registration for class recommended. 453-6050

May 15     Mililani Public Library hosts a free Microsoft Word class for adults from 6pm - 7pm. Participants will learn how to create documents, edit text, save files and more. Pre-registration in person is required. call 627-7470
