School Happenings

Mon. Feb. 6     Copy Training 8am - 9am. Meet in PCNC office and go to copy room. No kids allowed at this training.

     Buddy pictures will be taken every Monday in February after school behind the cafeteria. Gather your friends for pictures guaranteed to be in the yearbook. $1.00 for each person in picture.

Tues. Feb 7  

Wed. Feb. 8     Jump Rope 4 Heart - donate $1.00 to American Heart Association and jump rope with your grade level in new playcourt

     Chaperone Training in PCNC corner of main office 8:00am - 8:30am

Thurs. Feb. 9     Kindergarten Field Trip to Zoo

Fri. Feb. 10     School starts at 7:55 every day - Be on time or get tardy slip from office

Enjoy your long week end - No school on Mon. Feb. 13 for teacher institute day

Community Happenings

Keiki Great Aloha Run costs $25.00 and deadline to register is Feb. 6  This takes place on Sat. Feb. 18 on a 1.5 mile course around Neal S. Blaisdell Center and McKinley High School. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our school. Make sure you sign up through form in our office. Our PE teacher has already filled in school code to get credit. Cost includes T-shirt, complimentary Breakfast and free entry to Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run, Sport, Health and Fitness Expo at the Blaisdell that weekend.

Feb. 4     Celebrate Cherry Blossom time in Wahiawa and take a 90 minute trolley ride around Wahiawa to see cherry blossoms. 9am or 11am or 1pm - Leave from Wahiawa Ryusenji Soto Mission (164 California  Ave.) Cost is $20 for a trolley ride by reservation only call Rene (808) 291-6151 or renemancho@hawaii.rr.com

Feb. 3 & 4     Punahou Carnival 11am - 11pm. Free admission. Punahou School hosts its annual carnival featuring rides, games, music, food and of course malasadas.

Feb. 4     Craft, Gift & Rubberstamp Expo at the Neal Blaisdell Center, Hawaii Suites from 9am - 3pm and admission is free. Featuring local vendors selling a variety of crafts, gift items and supplies. A large Crafters Clearance Sale is part of this event. nanstar@hawaii.rr.com

Feb. 4     New Year's Festival and Malasadas Day Celebration at Hawaii's Plantation Village 10am - 2pm admission is free. Celebrate the Year of the Fire Rooster with a blessing at Wakamiya Inari Shrine, a lion dance by Kung Siu Lum Pai Association, games, crafts, food samples and more - 94-695 Waipahu Street  or call (808)677--0110

Feb. 10     2nds at Leilehua from 4pm - 8pm. Many food trucks will be in Leilehua High Schools front parking lot, so come for dinner.
