The DKIES Drama Group will be performing 2-One Act Plays on March 17 with school-wide previews on March 15 or 16. They are looking for sofa to use in the production. If you have one we could borrow, please talk to Mr. Merriam in D! (our Drama teacher and director)

Wed. Feb. 22     5th Grade Field trip to Honolulu Museum of Art

Thurs. Feb. 23     Book Swap and Jamba Juice after school in the cafeteria.   Bring a kids book and swap for another.  Jamba Juice smoothies for sale $5.00 2 flavors Strawberry Whirl or Orange Dream

Feb. 17     Ho'ala School celebrates its 30th anniversary with Ronnie's express food truck, a bounce house, games and activities from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Catch a talent show from 6:15-8pm as well as dancing till 9. Call 621-1898 for tickets

Feb. 17     Halawa Xeriscape Garden from 6pm - 7:30pm Learn about the ancient art of companion planting. How to select plants that benefit each other and more for only $5.00. Pre-registration is required at 748-5315 or workshops@hwbs.org

Feb. 17     Family Fun Fitness day from 4pm - 6:30pm at Kalakaua Community Center.  An afternoon of fun interactive  games, drills and demonstrations the entire family will enjoy.  You'll have the opportunity to learn more about sports and fitness programs available to you and your family throughout the year.  Bring 10 canned food items to help Hawai'i's hungry and be entered to win a fabulous family prize.  Basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, tennis and baseball drills. Feb. 17, 18, 19   Mililani Carnival food, games, rides, craft booths and more at Mililani High School parking lot. Feb. 17 from 3pm - 11pm, Feb. 18 from 11am - 11pm and Feb. 19 from 11am - 6pm

Feb. 18     Keiki Great aloha Run starts at Blaisdell Center, Ward ave. entrance. 8:20am opening program. 8am run begins. This 1.5 mile course around the Blaisdell center and McKinley High School ends at Blaisdell.  pre-registration required and designate our school on entry form. kajoomiki.org

Feb. 20     Great Aloha Run from Aloha Tower to Aloha Stadium starts at 7am. Traffic diverted as runners, walkers and strollers take to the streets of Nimitz Highway

Feb. 25     Craft Fair at Leilehua High School Cafeteria from 10:00am - 2pm.    Interested in renting a vendors booth, please contact Melissa Diaz at 808-518-9545.  Come and enjoy creative crafts, local foods, vendors, silent auction and much more
